How Do I Submit An Essay?
Anyone can register and submit an article. But first, please contact us on our Contact page so we will know to authorize your registration.
Who Is Eligible?
Lex Technologiae is open to anyone who has an interest in law and technology. This includes lawyers, professors, and law students. Non-lawyers or legal academics are also welcome.
What Type of Writing Is Wanted?
Lex Technologiae has the following requirements for any essay:
- The work must be original;
- It must be written in English; and
- It must relate to law and technology.
All submissions are subject to editorial review by members of Lex Technologiae.
This is an academic legal blog focusing on legal theory and its application to real-world issues. Therefore, Lex Technologiae is not looking for legal gossip, legal news reporting, or opinion pieces. Essays must contain legal analysis on an issue or issues surrounding law and technology.
What Format Is Accepted?
The preferred method of citation is the Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation.
Other citation systems, including but not limited to the ALWD Citation Manual and the Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA), are acceptable.
Links to online copies of sources are encouraged where possible.
